The Shack

I am not much of a reader. When I was in high school, I actually enjoyed the books by Michael Crichton, but my reading pretty much stopped there (besides some non-fiction). A few months ago, Johnny and I decided to stop watching TV (short lived, by the way), so I started reading a book called Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson. It was so awesome that I finished it in two days.

For my birthday, my friend Suzanna gave me the book The Shack. I had heard a little about it by my sister-in-law Kristy, but at the time I had no interest in reading. I'm about 2/3 of the way done (started a week ago, but only get to read a chapter at a time). Anyways, it's a great book. It's so deep. If you know anyone that is struggling with the loss of a loved one... definitely suggest this book. It's fiction, but it's like getting all your questions about God answered in person. Wow! He is amazing. And what a joy it is to know how much Jesus loves me. I know that sounds like a cliche, but it's true. I am so blessed!

Just had to share... if you've got a favorite book, please tell me what it is :)

Check out my blog! I was a reading freak for a while and then got burned out. But I still have a list on my blog of a ton of books that I read.
